Asia on film

There’s a magic in the imperfection of a roll of film that I think is lost in a lot of modern-day photography. Gone are the days when you only had 36 precious chances to capture a moment, forcing you to approach every shot with deep consideration and appreciation for what you were seeing before you clicked the shutter to immortalize it forever. Distance isn’t simply the length of space between you and a destination, but also you and another you at another point in time. Not often now do photographs age in the same way to a point where you feel the distance and the bittersweet longing to experience those moments again. I’m grateful that I had my film camera with me during my trip to capture some of the amazing humans and places that filled my trip with life essence. Here are some of my favorites.
